Battery Safety & Installation Guide

Your safety is important to us. Please read these guidelines before installing, charging, or using your eBike battery.

Before Installation

• Check that the battery is compatible with your eBike model before installation.

• Inspect the battery for signs of damage before use.

• Do not use a battery that appears swollen, cracked, leaking, or otherwise damaged.

• If you are unsure about compatibility, contact us before installing the battery.

Installation

• Always switch off your eBike before installing or removing the battery.

• Follow the manufacturer's installation instructions.

• Ensure the battery is securely locked into position before riding.

• Never force the battery into place.

If you are not confident installing the battery yourself, we recommend having it fitted by a qualified eBike technician.

Charging

• Always use the charger recommended for your battery.

• Charge the battery indoors in a dry, well-ventilated area.

• Keep the battery away from flammable materials while charging.

• Do not cover the charger or battery during charging.

• Disconnect the charger once charging is complete.

• Never leave a charging battery unattended for long periods.

Storage

• Store the battery in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

• Avoid exposure to excessive heat, freezing temperatures, or moisture.

• If storing for an extended period, maintain the battery charge between approximately 40% and 60%, following the manufacturer's recommendations.

Safe Use

• Do not dismantle, modify, puncture, or crush the battery.

• Keep the battery away from water, fire, and excessive heat.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Stop using the battery immediately if you notice unusual heat, smoke, odours, or damage.

Disposal

Do not dispose of lithium-ion batteries with household waste. Recycle them through an authorised battery recycling facility or local recycling centre in accordance with local regulations.
